The Movin' On Band is an eclectic group from the South Side of Chicago playing music from different genres: Motown R&B, Disco, Pop, Rock, Latin Rock and much more.  Our fans love to dance and we enjoy playing the hits that will have them rockin' on the dance floor all night long!

Several of the band members have recorded original music and have performed with recording artists such as: Buddy Miles, Hall of Famer's from Santana's Drummer Mike Schreive and percussion Chepito Areas, Jose Feliciano, Los Lobos, Malo and Tierra.

Our fans are our main inspiration and we enjoy giving back to the community - having played at several charity events this year. We'll do anything for our fans! Joe has been known to rock Elvis gear and shake his hips to "Jailhouse Rock" for all our fanatical Elvis fans. Which is pretty impressive given when Joe first started the band he was a bit shy and often had his back to the crowd. Not sure who in the band he enjoyed singing to more than the audience...hmm for that we might never know! We are always willing to step out of our musical comfort zone of playing hits by Santana, Donna Summers, Chicago, Malo, Temptations, Tower of Power, Journey, Selena, Gloria Estefan, Tierra and more to try something new that pleases our fans. Don't be afraid to make any requests next time you come out to see us play.

We dedicate this site to our family and friends who have always supported us and continue to inspire us. Thank you and love to you all!

We also want to send our love to the family of Rudy Negron, lead singer of the Mystics, who passed away last year. We always enjoyed having Rudy come on stage to sing his hit "That's the Kind of Love". His voice was magical and there was always a packed dance floor when he sang that song.
